OK Studios is a group of professional artists based in Standish, North Wigan.
Set up as a charitable organisation in 2004 OK Studios aims to provide, where possible,
access to studio spaces and exhibition opportunities for professional artists and to create
greater access to the visual arts and encourage learning and appreciation of these in the public arena.
In addition to the eleven artists who have studio spaces, OK also offers membership to selected
artists who wish to be part of an artists' network but have no need for a studio space.
On this website you can find out about and view the artworks of all the artists who are
members of OK Studios as well as the latest events at the studios.
The studio group hold an annual Open Studio event when the public are invited to view the artists' workspaces. All members are invited to exhibit at this event.
OK Studios has established links with local schools and provides tours of the studios and workshops for students.
OK Studios artists have recently commenced an innovative programme of art exhibitions in temporary gallery spaces.
OK Studios aim to develop the exhibitions programme to include collaborations with community based groups,
regional and nationally based artists groups, museums and galleries and to offer experience in curatorial
practice and project management to its members.

How to find us
Leave the M6 at junction 27 and get onto the A5209 to
Standish. At the traffic lights in Standish, turn right
onto the A49 to Wigan.
Take the first left turn into Cross treet. The Standish
Centre is on your left, with parking to the front and rear
of the building.

Join us
Office Kollective Studios consists of studio
based artists and associate member artists.
Associate members pay £6 per month and are
invited to regular meetings at the studio base
in Standish, where they can keep in touch with
current news and events.
All members are invited to exhibit their work at
the annual open studios, join in with collaborative
projects and exhibitions and propose ideas for future events.
